Telemedicine
Telemedicine – is a form of clinical medicine, where information is sent via interactive audio and visual media. This can refer to the practice of transfer of medical information via phone, Internet or video broadcasting technology. Telemedicine is not a new concept and has a rich history it has, however, dramatic progress on prices due to the further development of the technology.
Telemedicine can be traced back to the beginning of Africa, used as in African villages signals to other smoke away from their villages when they had become infected with serious diseases to warn. Remote monitoring allows the physician or medical personnel for remote monitoring of patients with any number of medical devices. Remote monitoring is known for its use in the treatment of chronic diseases and certain diseases such as heart disease known. The use of remote monitoring can be visited many advantages over traditional methods such as cost efficiency, remote monitoring is much cheaper than in person. Remote monitoring can the same results as face to face visits.
“Interactive telemedicine is the last type of telemedicine and the most promising. Interactive telemedicine offers interaction between the provider and the patient in real time using technologies such as telephone, Internet, satellite video communication and any other type of remote communication. As the technology develops newer and more modern forms of telemedicine it is possible, it may even come a day when possible, surgery and medical Procedures advanced from a remote location. Currently Interactive telemedicine is usually used to write the physical examination, history and a wide range of assessments and evaluations, including psychological assessments, which are similar to those done in person in a face to face environmental surveys.
Telemedicine – enables the patient to open the door to new world of medicine. Doctors can treat patients on the street or around the world and for a fraction of the cost of traditional medicine.
