Mediation in Information Technology

For those of us who are in the field of information technology has been a while, the dispute is part of the work. I have a project manager, project manager and manager of Telecom Expense Management (just to name a few posts) and in each position, I met with conflict and the possibility for individual cases. Part of the work of a project manager to solve problems on a daily basis. This can be as simple as working with a team member and manager of technical exchange for the time required to complete a task. Or it can be as complex as working with a project steering group to determine if the project schedule should / could be delayed. Mediation can be used in one of these two examples.
In the first, where a team member, project manager and office manager to discuss the need for hours at a task, a project manager can act as the neutral and work with each side entirely to the difference between what Understanding team member is to estimate the amount of time required to complete a task and the amount the handler function is ready to provide. In this case, this informal mediation, relaxed over.
The second question is whether a project steering committee should be deferred to a formal mediation will probably take place between the Steering Committee and seller complete the work (if a vendor on the contract). This mediation, but probably not foreseen when planning the project, would help both parties understand the underlying problems that caused schedule delays and could help each party to work better in the future.
Telecom Manager as I had the opportunity to expense management, Telecom Management Group more than one company. Meanwhile, I am familiar with most conflicts that telecommunications services, management companies and telecom expenses faced by carriers. Sometimes the relationship between the company purchasing services for voice or data and the company may be contradictory. This adversarial relationship may be due to unrealistic contract, metrics outstanding service, or other reasons that may lead to a variety of disputes.
There are many potential applications for mediation in the area of telecommunications. Mediations can occur between companies and their service providers for missed service level disputes, contractual disputes, credits herself to be received due to invoice and the list goes on. Mediation to all these situations a formal meeting calling for greater regulation neutral or resource use internally for claims that are smaller and less complex in nature.
